Clarity

We believe that every business owner deserves to have access to the very best information about their business on a monthly basis.

With Clarity, we will report on the standard ratios like gross and net profit margins, direct costs and overheads variances that you would expect from your accountant, but more than this, we will provide period on period analysis, cashflow waterfalls, breakeven and trend analysis with key driver performance in the business from an accounting perspective.

If there are any non-financial drivers, like sales conversation, pipeline numbers, social media activity and internal measures that you track as business, we can add these into the report given you one place for all your key information each month.

Every month, your business will also know what Corporation Tax, VAT and Personal Taxes are accruing so you always know where you stand.  This will allow planning much easier and a surprise bill never hitting your desk.

Insight

Using the depth of information from our Clarity reports, Insight focuses on the ‘what-if scenarios’ and what impact this can have on the business’ bottom line profits.

As skilled professionals, we would act as your non-executive financial director, reporting on business performance, the variance and analysing why numbers are moving the way they are. 

We will work with you on preparing budgets, cashflows and identifying key sales and cost drivers in the business, allowing us to focus on what actually matters. Peter Drucker said “What gets measured, gets managed”, a slight adaptation could be, “What gets measured, matters” and this is what we would like to report on for your business using our Insight service.

We have clients that have transformed their businesses by using this service, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly depending on their needs. For us to make a difference, we believe, monthly is a productive use of time by using the Clarity reports provided as  the discussion focus.

As your Non-Executive FD, we will be there to help you understand what your numbers are telling you and to spark those ideas for change.

Challenge

For clients who want to utilise Clarity an Insight to its full potential, we have Challenge.

Owning a business can sometimes be a self-obsession for continuous improvement, but also a lonely place with no one to bounce ideas off, and not all advice in the local pub is good advice!

Working with our Senior team and a highly awarded business coach, we work on a 12-month rolling business success plan. 

We will provide you with the educated challenge your business needs for growth, team management, wellbeing, goal setting and holding the business owner accountable to their actions.

We offer this service primarily in groups to facilitate challenge and idea sharing from different industry sectors which keeps the ideas fresh by providing different perspectives for common business hurdles.

 We find that bi-weekly or monthly sessions really hold the business owner to account and the most rapid path for the success, unique to that business.

A very select few clients take this service on a 1:1 basis, suitable for those who are ruthlessly determined and committed to fast changes.
